The annual marketing conference of the African Marketing Confederation holds next month. The conference, themed “Brand Resilience Amidst Economic Uncertainty”, will host multidisciplinary conversations from experts across Africa.
One of the biggest needs of businesses across the region involves the need to generate innovative campaigns that ensure that the brand overcomes the current socio-economic realities. As stagnating economic growth impacts wallets globally, companies need to develop strategic and cost-effective solutions while leveraging new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) to consolidate business processes.
Developing AI-Driven Marketing Solutions
AMC officials gain inspiration from the successful introductions of AI-driven solutions into various marketing aspects like swift data computing and management to determine trends. Such data can then go into making more informed advertising decisions like retargeting advertising to reach a more specific audience.
Here’s the background against which the third annual conference of the African Marketing Confederation (AMC) will hold in Mombasa, Kenya from September 25 to 27, 2024.
In her remarks regarding the conference, AMC President Helen Mclntee highlighted that “the conference promises a fantastic networking opportunity to delve into brand resilience in economically uncertain times, hear solutions implemented by peers in the industry. Moreover, Mclntee believes that next month’s conference will offer delegates some “down time”, as they take a break off work routines to interact with delegates and global experts at the Sarova White Sands Beach Resort in Mombasa.
Additionally, Mclntee discloses topics scheduled for discussion at the three-day event to include: “macro marketing, women in marketing, tailoring brand strategies for diverse African markets, as well as using generative AI in digital marketing among others”.
