Lontor Nigeria unveils its advanced Residential Energy Storage System (RESS) to minimize energy costs for Nigerians. The solar-based product can cut Nigerians’ energy costs by about 80 percent.

Hi-Tech Development Company Lontor, a subsidiary of Choice International Group, launched the product during an event themed “Power your lifestyle”   with top management officials, distributors, and residents in attendance. Top management officials in the company at the event include Managing Director Roamen Lin and Senior Marketing Manager Larry Long.

Specifics on Lontor’s Energy-Efficient RESS

In his remarks on the product’s economic efficiency, Long says, “People are paying N200 to N250 per unit of electricity, but using this solar system, you will be spending N40 per unit.” Senior Sales Manager Mr. Kizito Okhaifoh reveals that each piece of the product includes an inverter and lithium battery instead of highly toxic lead.

Mr. Kizito adds that Lontor’s inverters will provide users with a three-month warranty “while our technical guys are available to help with installation and maintenance.” Meanwhile, Mrs. Doris Du, another Senior Sales Manager who spoke at the occasion revealed further specifics on the product.

According to Mrs. Doris, the “high-grade quality and safety” inverter comes in three categories 2.5KWh, 5KWh, and 10KWh. When fully charged, the noiseless inverters can last for 72 hours uninterrupted, while the batteries’ 3,000 recycle span can see them live for up to 10 years.

The event also featured a raffle draw that saw several dealers and other buyers leave with mouthwatering gifts between N100,000 and N1m.
