Your Past Role and Overall Experience at DigiMarcon Africa 2024

“Being a tech enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for the next big trend. Back in 2019, digital marketing was just beginning to make waves in South Africa, and that’s when I came across DigiMarCon in Johannesburg. I couldn’t afford a ticket, but I noticed they were seeking event volunteers, and I knew this was my opportunity. Volunteering wasn’t just a way to attend the event; it became a gateway to a world of innovation. I found myself surrounded by industry leaders, engaged in thought-provoking discussions, and deepening my understanding of digital marketing. That experience ignited a passion in me that has since shaped both my life and career. I also built connections with incredible people, many of whom I’m still in touch with today.”

DigiMarCon 2024 Cape Town Is “Set to Raise the Bar”

“I’m really excited about the upcoming DigiMarCon Africa conference in October! This year feels like it’s going to be extra special, with a stronger focus on how digital marketing is evolving in Africa specifically. Attendees can expect more hands-on sessions, fresh content, and a lineup of speakers who are really in tune with the current challenges and opportunities in our region.

What’s different this time around? From what I hear, there’s going to be even more emphasis on interactive experiences, where you don’t just listen—you actually get involved. Plus, with all the advancements in AI and digital tools, I think we’re in for some seriously game-changing insights. If you’ve attended before, this year is set to raise the bar in a big way!”

Will You Attend the Upcoming DigiMarCon 2024 Africa in Cape Town?

“Oh, I’m definitely considering attending DigiMarCon 2024 Africa, but I’m leaning more towards the Johannesburg event since that’s where I’m based. I absolutely love Cape Town, and if by some chance my work takes me there during that time, I’d happily switch my plans to the Cape Town event. Either way, I’m sure DigiMarCon will be an incredible experience, no matter which city I end up in. The insights and connections to be gained are going to be fantastic, so I’m looking forward to it!”

Parting Words – “Buckle Up, Enjoy the Ride”

“One thing I love about conferences like DigiMarCon is that they’re basically a playground for digital, tech and marketing geeks like me. It’s where you get to geek out over the latest trends, meet other marketing enthusiasts who understand your obsession with metrics, and maybe even snag a few freebie swag items.

As for the marketing space, it’s like a rollercoaster ride that never ends. Just when you think you’ve figured out the latest trend, something new pops up—like AI-powered chatbots or the newest social media craze. But that’s what keeps it exciting, right? So, buckle up, enjoy the ride, and remember: if your marketing strategy doesn’t occasionally make you laugh or shake your head in disbelief, are you even doing it right?”
